Pink Shabby Chic

I made this for a friends mother as a belated Mother's Day gift. In her younger years, she was a talented seamstress and an expert at needlework/embroidery. She has difficulty with her hands and shoulders now and can no longer do the fine embroidery work or smocking that she was known for. She can still appreciate things like this though, and I was pleased to make it for her.
